Format for problem/program submission:
1. Restate the question.
2 Give your solution/proof/algorithm.
3. Double space between problems.
4. Write legibly. If I can not read it, it is wrong.
5. You are to do all the problems, but submit only the
ones indicated.
6. All homework problems are due on the due date ( Normally the class immediately after the date of assignment). No
late submissions.
If you miss a set, it will not be
be counted. Programs count 4 times the value of homework
problems. i.e. homeworks count 10% total and programs count 30% of total
grade. Homework is not graded and returned. If you have questions they
are to be addressed directly to Dr. Wiggins via email, in person or in
class, but more precisely by forum on the MOODLE. The homework is intended to be a learning aid in order to
encourage you and reward you for doing so, it is afforded a grade.
Several problem sets will go together to form a single grade. If you do
them and turn them in, they are assessed as to number and quality of
the exercises. However, each exercise is not assessed as to absolute
correctness and value. They are cumulative as stated above. This is to
your advantage w.r.t. grade. If you do them an honestly work at them,
you will have knowledge of the areas you need to seek help on as well
as earn points toward your final grade. However, homework is not
graded and returned. If you have trouble with homework contact me and I
will set aside some time to explain those troublesome exercises. All programs must be submitted via the MOODLE to be accepted.
